Twenty years ago this November, the Orange Catholic Foundation was established under the leadership of Bishop Tod Brown. Bishop Brown saw a need for the Orange Catholic Foundation to provide an opportunity for endowment funds to be invested for long term sustainability and provide a future stream of income for our schools and parishes.

These long term investing practices have provided a sustainable future for Catholic education and the parishes throughout the Diocese of Orange.

The Foundation offers resources and tools for faith based legacy giving and estate planning, which helps to provide for the future of our Church. The Orange Catholic Foundation also raises funds for current use to meet the needs of our ever growing Catholic community. In addition to raising funds, the Foundation manages, grows and grants long term funds, including endowment, special interest, scholarship, and donor advised funds.

The safety and well-being of the community and staff remain the top priority at the Orange Catholic Foundation. The Foundation staff have adjusted their work situations so that employees are all working remotely, but remain available to help their supporters and those effected by the COVID-19 virus. “Our supporters at the Orange Catholic Foundation are very generous and kind. They have been with us through the years and we are here, just as we have already been, to help them,” shares Suzanne Nunn, Acting Executive Director at the Orange Catholic Foundation.

The Foundation continues to be a resource in our Catholic community and are only a phone call or email away to answer any questions or concerns anyone may have. The staff are in constant contact with their investment managers and are working diligently to provide financial relief to those in need.
