Mater Dei Funds
Mater Dei High School is a co-educational college preparatory diocesan Catholic high school located in Santa Ana, California. Mater Dei High School’s mission is to provide a holistic Catholic education that serves a diverse community of students and recognizes each individual as a gift from God. Working with the parents/guardians, who are the primary educators of their children, the school is dedicated to the development of the whole person: spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical, social, moral, and creative. It is the goal of Mater Dei High School to graduate students who become leaders, committed to serving God and society with a profound sense of social justice, founded in love.
Mater Dei Monarch Legacy Endowment Fund
This fund was seeded in January 2014 and was established for the sole benefit of Mater Dei High School.
Mater Dei Monarch Legacy Fund - Alumni Legacy Fund
This fund was established in 2014 to provide need-based financial aid for children and grandchildren of Mater Dei alumni as defined by the Alumni Heritage Fund application guidelines.
Mater Dei Monarch Legacy Fund - Cisneros Family Endowment Fund
Established in 2013, this fund provides need-based tuition assistance to Hispanic students who are attending Mater Dei High School.
Mater Dei Monarch Legacy Fund - Saavedra Endowment Fund
This fund was established in 2014 to provide financial aid for students as defined in the gift agreement between Mater Dei High School and Oscar and Veronica Saavedra.
Mater Dei Monarch Legacy Fund - Helen Steves Honorary Endowment Fund
Established in 2016, this fund is to supplement students of Mater Dei High School with those extra items or things that students need or want but cannot afford, whether it be for a service trip or retreat, a ticket to the prom, a text book, a uniform, lunch money, or even a Christmas tree. The support is provided through the Campus Ministry to families in need.
Mater Dei Monarch Legacy Fund - Packard Family Fund
Financial aid for students as defined in the gift agreement between Mater Dei High School and the Packard Family.
